812 Squadron Air Cadets

Why Choose Air Cadets?

Wearing Wings with Pride

Air Cadets is an amazing, life-changing program that offers education in aviation, confidence building, physical education and sports competition, skill-building potential and a variety of incredible training opportunities for youth.

What's in it for you?

The benefits and personal rewards being an Air Cadet are endless. You will have the opportunity to learn and new skills and be recognized for your commitment and dedication by being promoted to higher ranks. As an Air Cadet, you will learn leadership skills that will serve as a great foundation for your future, no matter what career path you choose.

There is no cost to join and you'll be amazed at all the stuff you will experience. You'll be provided with a free uniform, which includes a tunic, shirt and dress pants, as well as boots, and a winter parka and much more!

Visit Us

We welcome personal visits by any youth who are interested in becoming an Air Cadet (ideally accompanied by a parent or guardian), during one of our Parade Nights. Parade nights are held each Monday evening at Victory Fellowship Baptist Church, Hanover.  Please contact the Squadron Office for more information.

Note: It is important to know that you are not being recruited for the military by joining cadets. Air Cadets are not part of the Canadian Forces, even though there is a close relationship. There is no expectation to join the military - that’s a personal decision that you can make for yourself. The Air Cadet program provides equal opportunity for all youth. All youth between the ages of 12 and 18 years old are able to join.
